winter migration

It will be winter in Australia soon, so during our last break Mike and I packed up the caravan & relocated to a small coastal town 480 miles north of Margaret River.

Maybe there will be a time when we'll want a house, garden, and the whole bit, but right now it's so good to be able to pack up our home in under 20 minutes, and then pull it away and hit the road.

Present home, First lookout:

Horrocks caravan park is right on the beach, not far outside of the photo. The new town is also relatively close to Kalbarri National Park. So of course we couldn't stay so close to Kalbarri without going there too.

While walking to Nature's Window, I managed to pick up a lot of little hitchhikers. I think flies like yellow.

Rather than stand around and let flies accumulate, Mike used his impressive climbing feats to place his back stragically in the wind, thus keeping away all but one brave little fly.
