an oregon trail

There are more than a few things I'm going to miss about the Pacific Northwest. Slugs, moss, mushrooms, waterfalls, and the constant, soft drum of light rain... We spent easter weekend on the Oregon Coast. The photos below are from a mid-morning trail walk through Oswald West State Park.

Which way would you go?

If you stand still long enough, moss will grow on you too.

One of the many slugs along the path to the beach.

"Two roads diverged between a yellow wood..."

Surfers on their way home.

Beach walking.

A stranger, caught in a strange moment...

This rushing stream is one of the ambient sounds (along with the chirping birds and heavy drops of rain) that accompany you along your walk to the beach.

this is real
