We're calmly sipping wine right now at the Perth International Airport, but the truth is... I'm really excited. In less than 5 hours, we should be in Jakarta, Indonesia. From Jakarta, we'll get a ride to a Cimaja, a surfing beach in Western Java where we plan to surf and relax for the next 18 days.
Besides surfing, we hope to see Krakatoa and also hike through Ujung Kulon National Park, home to the world's last one-horned java rhino. And, if it isn't too difficult, we'd really like to go to Central Java and visit Borobudur too, which is said to be the world's largest Buddhist temple.
I hope we'll have internet where we're staying. The Pondok Kencana surf resort seems to have everything else, so I don't see why they wouldn't have internet too. More to come soon.
